  • 1 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak (or sirloin steak)
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper (green or red), thinly sliced
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic butter (for brushing the rolls)

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Steak and Vegetables:
    • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add the thinly sliced steak and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
    • Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 4-5 minutes.
    • Remove the skillet from heat.
  4. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Split the slider rolls in half horizontally.
    • Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
    • Spread a layer of the prepared sauce on the bottom rolls.
    • Add the cooked steak, onions, and peppers on top of the sauce.
    • Place a layer of provolone cheese slices over the steak and vegetables.
    • Put the top half of the rolls on the cheese.
  5. Optional Garlic Butter Topping:
    • If desired, melt some garlic butter and brush it over the tops of the rolls for added flavor.
  6. Bake:
    • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove the sliders from the oven, cut along the lines to separate them, and serve immediately.
